We do not directly store payment card details. Payment processing is handled by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our Merchant of Record. Paddle may collect payment information according to their privacy policy.

  • Improve the Service: Analyze usage patterns to improve features and fix issues

3. What We Don't Do With Your Data

Your research data is never used to train AI models.

We want to be crystal clear:

  • Your uploaded documents are not used for AI training
  • Your research prompts are not used for AI training
  • Generated outputs are not used for AI training
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not share your research data with other users

When we send your data to AI providers (like Anthropic) for processing, it is solely to generate your research outputs. Anthropic's commercial API does not use this data for model training.

4. Data Encryption and Security

For Paid Users

All paid user data is encrypted at rest, including:

  • Project names and descriptions
  • Research reports and content
  • Uploaded documents and extracted text
  • Synthesis messages and outputs

We use AES-256 encryption with secure key management.

For All Users

Regardless of payment status, we implement:

  • TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
  • Secure authentication protocols
  • Regular security updates and monitoring

5. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party services:

Anthropic (AI Processing)

We use Anthropic's Claude AI models to generate research insights. Data sent to Anthropic is processed according to their commercial API terms, which prohibit using customer data for model training. Anthropic Privacy Policy

Paddle (Payment Processing)

Google (Authentication)

We offer Google OAuth for account authentication. Google may receive information about your login activity. Google Privacy Policy

Analytics

We may use analytics services to understand how users interact with the Service. This data is aggregated and anonymized where possible.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data as follows:

  • Account data: Retained while your account is active
  • Research data: Retained while your account is active, or until you delete it
  • Usage logs: Typically retained for 90 days
  • Payment records: Retained as required for tax and legal compliance

After account termination, we may retain some data for a reasonable period for legal and operational purposes, after which it will be deleted.
